"Monday's concert of the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna evoked high spirits and great interest. In Bialystok one has seldom heard music with so much charm and humor as on this evening: the audience was satiated with the galops, waltzes and polkas of the Strauss dynasty; with its noble sound and precision, the ensemble directed by Walter Kobera was convincing.
With the Radetzky March the audience was finally able to truly satisfy its pronounced need to clap".
